Priority Electric - I believe it's best to use qualified intelligent people that you can trust. Our belief is to charge a "middle of the road price," not the highest, and not the lowest, using top quality materials to do the job right. A company is only as good as its employees who perform the work and the materials that we use. If you do go this route of hiring incompetence, and some will, you may want to use the money you thought you were saving on the project, for additional fire insurance, translation tapes - books, and don't forget the money it will cost for the next contractor you will have to hire to fix their mistakes. 1) I got this bid from another company for less... Priority Electric does not use substandard parts nor substandard electricians. If you think you will negotiate a better price with Priority Electric by bringing up a bid from a competitor I will tell you that you will lose us forever. We know we are competitive with neighboring quality companies. We are not competitive with companies who do substandard work using potentially illegal aliens, using crap for materials, with no insurance and without a care for you and your home. We will not be there for you to fix their mistakes either. Penny wise, dollar foolish. 2) Do we use Bentley products or Pontiac products? We use Lexus / Toyota products as we don't want you to have break downs, and we want you to be happy. Now obviously we don't use Toyota or Lexus products but it is to give you an idea based on automobiles. I will say we don't use Pontiac or Geo products. 3) Electrician or Handyman? That's easy,... piece of mind, sleep at night, or Fire Insurance? Handy men say they do electrical work all the time. Do they? Highly doubtful! If they did it well, they would be earning much more money working as an electrician. ( I get handymen asking me for jobs quite often and when I ask them some questions that an electrician would know they don't have the foggiest idea of what I am asking ) I personally only hire handy men to do paint touch ups. 4) Electrician vs Electrician? Which one should I hire? Should you hire the one who has the well stocked vehicle with excellent testing equipment? or the guy with the pick up trying to get by cause he hocked his tools for crystal meth? Then ask yourself, is cheaper better? 5) What about the guys in the mini vans? Do you have any idea how short stocked those vehicles are? What a joke! 6) Factory Trained? We have come behind some of these electricians work that say that they are "Factory Trained." I think not. More like, "worked in a Factory!" Not doing Electrical work! In the 22 years of being in the Electrical business there are few "Dealer Training's" I have not yet heard of "Factory Training." Don't buy it, and watch out for them! Priority Electric is Dealer Trained by the manufacturers that have offered training in their products. You can spot them easily when they pull up in mini vans! 7) Ask who exactly is going to do the work? I hear quite often about a local electrical contractor who talks you into a deal, and then sends the worst of the worst without proper tools, supplies, or ability, to do the work you want done. The work is deplorable, and we will not come and fix it. Please don't ask us to come and take care of your electrical, after you had a handyman, neighbor, or terrible electrician work on your home. 8) Privacy? We work in High profile clients homes all the time and we do not disclose information about anyone. We respect you, your home, your family, and your privacy. (All employees of Priority Electric have signed a confidentiality agreement as to not divulge information about anyone or anything unless ordered by a court of law.) |
